The Backseat
Is a progression minded raiding guild on the US PVP server, Korgath.
What sets The Backseat apart from the swath of 'hardcore' guilds on Korgath, is that we keep a casual raiding schedule while still being able to enjoy the top tiers of PVE content WoW has to offer.
We are dedicated, we are driven, we strive for the highest level of play from all of our members.....
But most importantly, we all have lives and foster the painfully obvious fact that there is more to life than hardcore video gaming.
If you can devote 2-3 nights a week to destroying big, bad, seriousfaced internet dragons....then consider this your formal welcome to the guild that drives with authority.

The Backseat Moves into ICC25/10 Heroic Modes! The real challenge awaits us! 3/12 down in ICC25H. A good start. More to come.

After our first 14 days of ICC10 Heroic exposure, and 2 nights in ICC25 H, the guild sits at 10/12 Heroic ICC 10 man (with confidence in downing Sindragosa 10H and seeing LK 10H on Sunday/Monday), and 3/12 Hardmodes in ICC25.
Constant Vigilance. Thats the name of the game now! We look to further our progression by adding a few key components to our main 25 man raiding core, and also adding to our guild as a whole...both by recruiting new members and desired classes, but more importantly; playing this game at the level that the guild aspires to be at! THE ABSOLUTE BEST WE POSSIBLY CAN!
The Backseat is currently looking to add the following to our 25 man raiding roster/pool as soon as possible:
-Do not bother applying if you are not ready for full ICC25 clears ICC25H progression, and ICC10 Hardmodes.
-Do not bother applying if you cannot make 90%+ of our raids (M, T, W, Th/Sun 10 mans)
1 Balance Druid
1-2 Warlocks (Affliction/Demonology)
1-2 Elemental Shaman (Resto Offspec Pref.)
Any stellar ranged/caster DPS
**Absolutely superb melee applicants will be considered as well, though we are not looking to recruit any specific melee class at this time**

ICC25 Normal Clear! On to 25 Hardmodes! Backseat 10 Man 1 shots BQL! LOL

On March 10, <The Backseat> dismantled the normal mode Lich King 25 player encounter. This was our 3rd night of attempts on the 25 player encounter and is a real milestone for this 5 month old group.
As we look towards clearing hard modes, enjoy the kill and start studying up on the hardmode encounters we will be facing!

Also, we have progressed in 10 man raiding up through the Crimson Halls in 10 player ICC Heroic Mode.

Our guild's door is ALWAYS open to high quality, "pro", efficient, and skilled students of the game.
We will always try to find a raid spot for an exceptional applicant, though we are currently focused on adding the following pieces to our guild to bolster our current raid composition:
1 Fury Warrior (Ability to tank as Prot is a bonus; Close to ArP Cap = Bonus)
1-2 Warlocks (Affliction/Demonology)
1 Elemental Shaman (Resto Offspec Pref.)
1 Feral Druid - Cat DPS (Ability to Bear Tank is a bonus)
